Challenge
The AA is the federation of trade bodies who represent marketing
industries. Their main aims are to build public trust in advertising in
addition to inspiring the industry to lead the agenda. To be seen as the single
and coherent industry voice and push across these messages, the website needed
to act as a powerful tool in facilitating this.
It was
pivotal that the site raised the AA’s profile and promoted its activity. To
achieve this, the site needed to be modernised as well as providing an easy-to-use
navigational structure for its users and be flexible for both its users and
administrators.
The AA
wanted the site as a whole to be useful, content rich and feature multimedia
throughout. This would encourage new and return visits from its vast target
market including existing members, other media buyers, advertisers and members
of the public.
The Approach
The first, essential step to providing the AA with a website to meet their
needs was to perform a full audit. This included thorough research and consultation

The Results
An aesthetically

created a site that really represents the high profile nature of the AA. All
the smart features also help promote them as a ‘must visit’ resource portal for
the advertising industry.
To top
off the superb design, there are some bespoke design touches such as a
slideshow of banners on the homepage and other banners on other pages
throughout the site, which work really well in creating a more seamless
experience for users.
The

management of the website. Easy updating and excellent templates allowed for
this.
With over 500 pages indexed in Google over the first week,
the SEO of the website is looking very sound. This helps to generate high
amounts of traffic to the new AA site.
